Best Mechanical was founded in 2009 as a sister company to United Electric. We started as a residential and light commercial HVAC and plumbing service contractor, building our reputation one customer and one service call at a time.
Those early years shaped who we are. Service teaches you quickly that drawings don't matter if the system doesn't work. Customers don't care why something failed—they care that you show up, solve the problem, and stand behind your work. That mindset still drives everything we do today.
As our reputation grew, so did the opportunities. We expanded into industrial facilities where precision matters, safety is non-negotiable, and downtime comes at a real cost. Working in those environments forced us to become better planners, better builders, and better partners. We learned that the best projects aren't won in the field—they're won through planning long before the first piece of pipe is installed.
Over the past few years, we made our largest investment yet, expanding aggressively into commercial construction and plan & spec work across Kentuckiana. We didn't change who we were—we simply brought the same mindset that made us successful in service and industrial work to larger, more complex projects. Plan ahead. Solve problems early.
