Rob Allen

Rob is our most experienced project manager, with more than twenty years in the trade and over a decade running complex commercial and design build work and a former med gas instructor at our local UA training school. A United States Marine Corps veteran, he entered the trade through the UA’s Veterans in Piping program and came up as a plumbing general foreman before broadening into process piping, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and building automation controls. His project résumé runs deep into healthcare and technical facilities: hospitals and children’s hospitals, compounding pharmacies, linear accelerators, MRI and radiology suites, microbiology laboratories, and freestanding emergency departments — along with hotels, office buildings, and even horse racetracks. A graduate of MCAA project management training who has also worked as an MEP consultant for a general contractor, Rob understands complex projects from both sides of the drawings.
