Kentucky Humane Society Animal Hospital • Ground-Up Construction

A brand-new animal hospital built to near-medical-grade standards — and one of the most complicated undergrounds we’ve ever put in the ground.

Scope: Full mechanical and plumbing for ground-up construction: hundreds of drains, grease traps, waste systems, medical gas, major HVAC, multiple control packages.

The Challenge: Hundreds of drains serving kennels and treatment areas layered with specialty separation systems — an underground where every line must be exactly right before anything is built on top — plus surgical-grade air requirements coming in future phases.

The Solution: We prioritized the underground, mapped it in BIM before installation, and are leading project-wide coordination so every trade is set up to win. A marquee project for the community, executing at a high level.
