A historic landmark, new layouts the old infrastructure was never built for, and a mandate to change everything without appearing to change anything.

Scope: Reconfigured restroom groups; plumbing demolition, rerouting, and new infrastructure; air distribution modifications; design assist.

The Challenge: Architectural constraints limited routing at every turn, existing systems didn’t match the new layouts, and the building’s historic character had to be preserved throughout.

The Solution: We treated maintainability as scope — including moving cleanouts from floors to walls so future service never means tearing into finishes — and routed within the building’s constraints without giving up performance. Upgraded systems, easier to maintain, historic structure untouched.
