Brought in direct by the owner to take over the remaining 70 percent of an installation another contractor started: a one-of-a-kind twin-screw extruder processing rubber at up to ~63,000 psi.

Scope: TSE system installation; full process piping across 14 chemical systems; design-build day tank systems; chemical feed, filtration, and pump integration.

The Challenge: One-of-a-kind equipment with no playbook, extreme pressures (~63,000 psi process, ~840 psi steam), 17 piping specs, 9 alloys, thousands of code welds — on an aggressive schedule, with a design that didn’t match field conditions.

The Solution: We aligned with the existing installation instead of forcing a redesign, engineered in the field where drawings and conditions disagreed, and ran the job like a system: small focused crews continuously fed pre-built work packages with materials staged and ready. The remaining 70 percent, completed on a compressed timeline with consistent quality across thousands of welds.
